3.1 Account & Identity Information — Full name, email address, phone number (if provided), login credentials, and account identifiers. 3.2 Career & Profile Information — Target roles, career preferences, educational background, experience details, skills, and professional interests. 3.3 Resume & Uploaded Documents — Document files, extracted resume content, formatting data, and text content relevant to analysis. 3.4 Payment Information — Billing details, payment status, transaction references. Note: Margdarshak AI does not directly store complete payment card or banking credentials. 3.5 Usage & Platform Activity Data — Login timestamps, feature usage, credit consumption, interaction logs, IP address, and browser metadata. 3.6 AI Interaction Data — Prompts submitted, queries entered, generated outputs, and workflow interaction history. 3.7 Communication Data — Support messages, emails, survey responses, and feedback submissions.

We use information for account creation, service delivery, personalized recommendations, resume analysis, ATS compatibility checks, payment processing, technical troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Margdarshak AI uses third-party artificial intelligence systems, including Google Gemini, to process certain user inputs and generate outputs. Submitted prompts and relevant processing data may be transmitted to AI service providers.

Margdarshak AI uses YouTube API Services, including the YouTube Data API v3, to discover and recommend publicly available educational video content relevant to users' personalized career roadmaps, learning tasks, projects, interview preparation, and skill-development activities. Our use of YouTube API Services is limited to educational content discovery, recommendation, and presentation of relevant YouTube resources within the Margdarshak AI platform. Information Retrieved from YouTube — When using the YouTube Data API, Margdarshak AI may retrieve publicly available YouTube metadata, including video ID, video title and description snippet, video thumbnail URL, channel name and channel ID, video duration, public view/like/comment counts, video publication date, and public caption availability and language information. This information is used to identify, filter, rank, and recommend educational videos relevant to a user's selected career goal, learning roadmap, project, language preference, or skill-development requirement. How YouTube Data Is Used — YouTube API data is used solely to discover relevant educational videos; provide learning resources associated with roadmap tasks and subtasks; recommend project tutorials and implementation guides; support interview preparation and skill-gap learning resources; filter videos based on factors such as duration, language, relevance, and content freshness; and display relevant YouTube metadata and links so users can access the original content on YouTube. Margdarshak AI does not use YouTube API data to create advertising profiles, sell analytics, or provide a service that substitutes for YouTube. Storage and Caching of YouTube Data — Margdarshak AI may temporarily store or cache YouTube API metadata, such as video IDs, titles, thumbnails, channel information, durations, and related metadata, in its internal databases and caching systems to improve performance, reduce redundant API requests, and provide consistent learning recommendations. Stored YouTube API data is refreshed or deleted in accordance with applicable YouTube API Services policies. Margdarshak AI does not permanently store YouTube audiovisual content. What Margdarshak AI Does Not Do — Margdarshak AI does not: download, copy, or store YouTube video or audio content; re-host or redistribute YouTube audiovisual content; scrape YouTube web pages; bypass YouTube API rate limits or access restrictions; extract or process YouTube video transcripts or copyrighted captions; modify or alter YouTube video metadata or thumbnails; access users' YouTube login credentials; access users' private YouTube account information through the YouTube Data API; or use YouTube API data for advertising, sale of analytics, or purposes unrelated to providing educational recommendations. How YouTube Content Is Displayed — YouTube resources may be presented as learning-resource cards containing information such as the video thumbnail, title, channel name, and duration. Users may be directed to the corresponding video on YouTube. Where a YouTube video is displayed using an embedded YouTube player, the player is provided by YouTube and is subject to YouTube's applicable terms, policies, and privacy practices. YouTube remains the source of the underlying video content; Margdarshak AI does not claim ownership of YouTube videos or represent YouTube content as its own. Google Privacy Policy — Because Margdarshak AI uses YouTube API Services, users should also review Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy), the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and the YouTube API Services Developer Policies (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/developer-policies). Data Deletion — Users may request deletion of personal information associated with their Margdarshak AI account through our account deletion process described in this Privacy Policy. When a user deletes their Margdarshak AI account, Margdarshak AI deletes personal information and user-associated data maintained by the platform in accordance with our applicable data retention and deletion procedures. YouTube API metadata that is not associated with a user's personal account is handled according to the applicable YouTube API Services data storage, refresh, and deletion requirements. Uploaded resumes are encrypted, accessible only by the respective user, and automatically deleted after 30 days from upload. Margdarshak AI does not sell uploaded resume content.

We retain personal data only as reasonably necessary for service delivery, subscription management, support, legal compliance, and fraud prevention.

Processing occurs based on user consent, contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, and legal compliance obligations.

We may share information with AI service providers (Google Gemini), infrastructure providers (Google Cloud), payment processors, professional advisors, and regulatory authorities where required by law.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encrypted storage and access controls. However, no internet-based platform can guarantee absolute security.
